The Wedding of Alexis and Tucker, man this wedding! This film was created 3 years ago and I still fall in love with it every time I watch it. From the beautiful details to the bridal party, this day truly brought every component a wedding day needs for everlasting memories. Their Davis Islands Garden Club Wedding was truly a blast to capture.
Upon initial inquiry, it was apparent Alexis and Tucker truly loved each other with all their heart. Tucker met Alexis at their college job while working together at 101 Cantina. After 6 years together and studying at the University of Florida it was finally time for Tucker to pop the question! When devising a proposal plan Tucker knew he had to bring their dog, Harley. One afternoon during a beautiful Florida day Tucker proposed on New Smyrna Beach with Harley right by his side!
For those not familiar with the Tampa River Walk, not only is it a must see, Tucker and Alexis wedding venue is as well! Davis Islands Garden Club is a personal favorite venue of mine in the Tampa Bay area. Upon walking into the Davis Islands Garden Club courtyard you are greeted with beautiful views of the Tampa Bay Riverwalk. The ceremony location can take place in a few spots but Alexis and Tucker chose to use the gazebo. The beauty of this location is the guest can see the couple and the view from their seats. First kiss is done, ceremony is over and now the guest make their way into the ballroom for a beautifully decorated reception. Wrapping up the night dancing their hearts off on the courtyard as the sunsets.
When creating Alexis and Tucker’s wedding film at Davis Islands Garden Club I knew I had to show their emotions from their letter reading. Combining those emotions with beautiful courtyard footage made their story so easy to tell! We explored the whole venue for beautiful backdrops while keep Tucker and Alexis close and cuddly. I was so ecstatic when Harley came to take photos/videos as well.
